Howard and Wesley Mills led a gifted crew in constructing a log home on a difficult, mountainous site in rural Madison County. The overall quality of construction was outstanding, particularly with respect to the tight integrity with which the log shell was formed and the careful attention to detail and finishing that is noteworthy throughout the home.

I especially enjoyed the Yellowstone “surprise” feature, as well as the creativity exhibited by adding in a difficult loft addition with spiral stair casing that significantly stretched the capabilities of the original design of the home. I continue to find Wes and his colleagues responsive to any follow up needs that have arisen and enjoy the personal relationship that the Mills’ family tries to develop with their clients. YCCH built our log home 13 years ago and has done two major additions for us since then, most recently in 2012. We feel that no one else can match the quality of their workmanship.
